Life at Koretrust

Connection and relationship is what makes our team trusted, safe and fun to be part of. It enables us to deliver excellent work while enjoying our work every day. Here are some of our rituals that help us bond and connect in spite of operating as a remote-first team:

KT Goodmorning!

We keep in touch on a daily basis with every member of the team. At the start of the working day, we connect for 30 mins in our KT Goodmorning Call to share our Good Vibe of the Day, our Top 1 Priority, check if we can help unblock or resolve any issues for anyone, and/or if we can provide any other type of support to help each other progress.

KT Weekly Review

Every Friday after lunch we connect for our Weekly Operational Review (WOR) where we go through a set agenda of operational and strategic topics to ensure that we keep on track to achieve the short and mid-term goals that we set at the start of the quarter.

Topics on the agenda include reviewing our Top 3 Priorities of the Week (and setting new ones), the Resource Plan for the upcoming period, the progress of our Quarterly Objectives & Key Results, and more.

We also celebrate the impact we made on clients, capture our learnings and do a Thank You-round to express our appreciation for the help we received from other team members in the last week.

KT Quarterly Meet-Up

Once a quarter the full team meets up physically to spend a few days together at the KT Quarterly Meet-Up (QMU). We dedicate these days to building strategy, development and building great memories together.

The first day is dedicated to Strategy, where we celebrate the results of the last quarter and define the new Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) together, as we believe everyone has ownership and responsibility over where the company is headed to. In the afternoon, team members present their current projects and share their key learnings.

The second day is dedicated to a particular Theme, and we work together on a specific strategic theme in the morning and dedicate a session to learning something new together in the afternoon.

The third day is called KT Experience, where we undertake a series of fun activities together to bond as a team and create some unforgettable memories and stories that our future grandchildren will love to hear!
